How it began
Meeting Planner Appreciation Month officially announced on August 3, 2026, during Prevue’s Next-Gen Experience Summit at Caesars New Orleans.
Created by Worth International Media and Prevue Meetings + Incentives, this new annual initiative gives the meetings and incentives industry a dedicated time each September to recognize the professionals behind the experiences that bring people together, strengthen organizations, inspire ideas and drive meaningful economic impact.
The initiative was unveiled before meeting and incentive planners and industry suppliers gathered at the Summit—marking the beginning of what we hope will become an annual tradition embraced across the industry.
